He used deadly force to stop a violent felon who attempted to disarm another officer and did get that officer’s Taser, but he is now being prosecuted by a Soros supported attorney general.
Las Cruces, NM police officer Brad Lunsford is a respected eleven-year law enforcement veteran who previously served in the United States Army, serving two tours of duty in Iraq. His life was radically changed on August 2, 2022. That was the day he attempted to arrest Presley Eze for shoplifting a beer from a convenience store. Eze violently resisted arrest and even attempted to acquire another officer’s firearm. When that failed, Eze successfully disarmed the officer of his Taser. If Eze had been given an opportunity to turn the Taser on officer he may have incapacitated them, then hurt or killed them with their own weapons. Forced to act, Brad used deadly force to end the threat to himself and his partner.
New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez, a recipient of George Soros support, charged Brad with Voluntary Manslaughter. It didn’t matter to Attorney General Torrez that Eze had acquired a Taser capable of immediately disabling the arresting officers. He saw a political opportunity to go after a cop and that’s all that mattered.
